Meet Rusty, a friendly but selectively social dog

Meet Rusty, a friendly but selectively social dog who's looking for a forever home where he can show off his gentle nature. Rusty does wonderfully with his sister, Lily, indicating he can get along well with some dogs, but he's known to be picky about his canine friends. Despite these challenges, Rusty has shown great composure around children. Even when faced with a screaming child, he remained calm and unreactive, showcasing his patient and gentle temperament.

Rusty is described as timid but friendly, often cautious around new people. This mellow fellow has a low to medium energy level, enjoying his relaxed moments just as much as his playful ones. When outside, he and Lily occasionally engage in playful antics, but he's equally content just lounging around. While Rusty and Lily aren't deeply bonded and can be adopted separately, they also make a great pair for anyone willing to open their home to both.

Rusty's ideal home would be one with understanding and patient owners who can give him the time to warm up at his own pace and a calm environment where he can thrive as the sweet and mellow dog he truly is. Whether playing with a compatible dog or chilling with his human companions, Rusty promises to be a loving and loyal addition to the family.

Meet Lucy, a sweet and gentle soul. This lovely dog has proven to be good with other dogs, showing no signs of aggression and demonstrating a friendly demeanor. Observing her play and interact, you might catch her barking joyfully and running alongside the fence with other dogs in the playgroup.

Despite her eagerness to engage and play, Lucy's timid nature means she can be unsure about her own energy levels and how much interaction she seeks. This highlights the need for a patient and understanding owner who can give her the time and gentle encouragement she needs to fully adjust and feel at home.

Lucy is a very sweet girl. Her ideal home would be one where she can feel secure and loved, with ample opportunities for both quiet time and playful interactions that help build her confidence. If you're ready to provide a nurturing environment and guide Lucy through her journey of adjustment, she promises to be a loyal and loving companion.
