A memorial gift to Journey Home Animal Care Center is a thoughtful way to express sympathy for the loss of a special person or pet. This thoughtful gift express your love and concern, while helping us care for homeless animals. When we receive donations in memory of a special person, we will send notification of your gift to the family (gift amount is confidential). Make a continuous gift to animals in need by becoming a Humane Hero. Click the donate button below to pledge your recurring monthly support of $10, $25, $50 or any other amount to help JHACC house, feed, and address the medical needs of animals EVERY month!
As a monthly donor, you will be registering to make a credit card/debit or checking account donation every month. After you make your initial donation, future donations will be automatically charged to your credit card or checking account. For example, if you choose to make a monthly donation of $50 on May 5th, your next donation of $50 will be automatically charged to your account on June 5th, July 5th, and each subsequent month thereafter until you request these donations be stopped. Journey Home Animal Care Center will provide you with an acknowledgement letter at the end of every year. However, if you would like an acknowlegement letter mailed to you each month, we are happy to. Please contact Heather at (970) 625-8808 or heather@rifleanimalshelter.org. If at any point you wish to discontinue your monthly contribution, simply give us a call.
Many employers participate in workplace giving campaigns that offer their employees the opportunity to donate to charity through a payroll deduction program. For further questions, contact your Human Resources department for information on how to participate
Employer Matching Gift Program Does your employer match gifts? If so, you may be able to increase the impact of your donations even further with employer matching gifts. Many employers sponsor programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees and/or spouses. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please contact your Human Resources department.
How to make a matching gift:
– Verify your employer offers a matching gift program. Please note that some companies may have restrictions, such as a minimum or maximum gift amount matched per year. Please check with your employer regarding matching gift policies and restrictions.
– Request a matching gift form from your company’s Human Resources department.

Many businesses or employers will make a donation to Journey Home Animal Care Center in exchange for volunteer hours. The donation is based on the number of volunteer hours served! Contact your employer to see if they offer volunteer and matching gift programs. Request necessary documentation from your employer. Please note that some companies may have restrictions, so verify gift policies and restrictions.

Legacy or planned gifts enhance the long-term stability of the Journey Home Animal Care Center and also allows you to continue showing your support to a charitable cause that is important to you. The most common planned gift is a bequest through your will or living trust. You can arrange a gift of a specific amount or percentage of your estate. Examples of Ways of Giving:
Bequests – leave a bequest through your will or estate plan
Life Insurance – donor designates a charity as beneficiary of life insurance payout
Retirement Plans – Donor designates charity to be beneficiary of retirement plan assets upon death or, while living, transfers some retirement assets directly to charity. Examples of retirement plans are IRA, 401 (k) or 403 (B)
Real Estate – Donate your personal residence, vacation home, farm, commercial real estate or vacant land.
Gifts of Stock – By gifting stock to Journey Home Animal Care Center you not only avoid taxes but your charitable contribution deduction is equal to the full fair market value. Both your pocketbook and the animals win!
